Updated March 25, 2021: Coronavirus (COVID-19):
The WFA 2021 meetings will be held virtually on June 15-18.
The will be held Virtually on June 15-18 with sessions on Wednesday the 16th through Friday the 18th (note that these dates are slightly earlier than originally planned to avoid the weekend). We greatly value personal interaction and meeting together in-person, thus the decision to hold the meeting virtually was one the WFA executive committee made after much deliberation, considering University travel restrictions at many institutions, foreign travel restrictions, vaccination heterogeneity, and uncertainty, hotel uncertainty, and contracting, and other considerations. We will definitely miss seeing you in person, but we hope to facilitate quality virtual conversations.
Updated January 22, 2021: Coronavirus (COVID-19):
There are lots of things to feel optimistic about. However, there is still much uncertainty about the timing of vaccinations. We hope to see you all in Hawaii in June and we are beginning our planning for that. But, of course, these are extraordinary times and we will continue to monitor the situation related to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and adapt as needed. In particular, we are anticipating a “hybrid” format to facilitate remote-participation for those for whom travel is not advisable.
Updated June 23, 2020: Coronavirus (COVID-19):
We are hoping and planning for WFA 2021 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki, Honolulu, HI. But, of course, will continue to monitoring the situation related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and adapt as needed. We will post updates on this page as needed. Now, June 2021 is a long ways off and so we anticipate the next update in January.
