Updated May 8, 2020: Coronavirus (COVID-19):
As you would likely expect, the WFA will happen this year via video conference. There are lots of details to sort out over the next few weeks and we thank you for your patience.
- If you happen to have a hotel reservation, please cancel them (best to do so by May 22)
- A few of you registered and paid the usual registration fee. We will be in touch shortly to refund.
- It took some time to re-organize our contract with the hotel but we are happy to have WFA 2023 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco to June 25 – 28, 2023.
- We are grateful to our sponsors. Our best paper award sponsors have kindly agreed to continue support this year. Our event sponsors (receptions, lunches, and coffees) have kindly agreed to return for WFA 2021 in Honolulu

As you have seen and experienced, this is a fast-changing situation. We are continuing to monitor and stand ready to adapt. The program is complete and will be circulated shortly. Please know we are committed to making WFA 2020 happen. If travel is not safe, we will host the conference via video conference.
Updated March 5, 2020: Coronavirus (COVID-19):
The WFA leadership team is monitoring the situation related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). In particular, we are monitoring the guidance from the CDC, the California Governor’s Office, and the city of San Francisco. For now, we are planning on having an engaging and healthy conference. However, we recognize this is a rapidly changing situation and we stand ready to adapt as needed:

- Note that hotel reservations can be cancelled ahead of May 22, 2020.
- We are working to allow remote-internet access to sessions.
- If needed, we can credit registration fees towards future WFA events.
